LG unveils Optimus Hub

NEW DELHI : LG has unveiled the successor to its popular Optimus One smartphone dubbed LG Optimus Hub, according to a report in GSMArena.

Sporting a 3.5-inch HVGA LCD display, LG Optimus Hub runs on 800 MHz CPU and comes with Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread operating system.

Disappointingly, the report says that the phone's CPU has an ARMv6 core, which means that the Optimus Hub is not capable to run ARMv7-requiring apps (Adobe Flash Player, Firefox for Android, etc.).

The phone packs a 5 megapixel camera and will come with 512MB RAM. Connectivity features include GPS, Wi-Fi, and 3G with 3.6 Mbps HSDPA connectivity. The phone will also support Bluetooth 3.0 and Wi-Fi direct.

Optimus Hub is expected to launch in October and will cost around 200 euros (Rs 12,814). No details on Indian launch are available.
